55 an hour Summary/Objective:
The QC Team Leader supports the company by leading and performing a full range of inspection and production-related tasks to ensure quality control which results in a product that meets and/or surpasses the customer's expectations.
Specific Responsibilities and
Essential Functions:
Oversees the work of the QC Technicians; serves as an acting leader when the Quality Manager is unavailable.
Verifies team members' compliance with procedures, policies, and job-specific requirements.
Completes pre-delivery sample shipments and performs required tests as required.
Understands customer requirements.
Assists in root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints, as needed.
Notifies production staff immediately of any and all out-of-specification conditions pertaining to tested samples.
Maintains required retains and files in correct order and location.
Maintains electronic files of test data and production data.
Communicates quality issues with inter-departmental and intra-departmental staff and management, as necessary.
Assists with maintaining quality of cosmetic, fit, form, and function of WIP and finished goods products.
Assists with decisions pertaining to unsatisfactory quality of WIP and finished good products.
Provides general analysis support to all departments, as needed.
Adheres to all plant rules, policies, and procedures.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Supports any efforts to maintain high-quality standards as defined by BRCGS and other plant-wide initiatives to help the parent-company, local company and the department.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
