Summary:
Program, set up, and operate CNC automated tube and wire bending equipment, set up and operate wire straightening /cutting equipment (operate multiple machines simultaneously including ring forming machines).
Complete move tickets; place on material handling containers.
Inspect quality of parts.
Report labor hours and part quantity in MES system.
All other duties as assigned, to include some Machine Operator I or II duties.
Machine Operator III positions in Tubing Department:
Automated Handle Line, Automated Frame Lines, Bender 12, Bender 14.
Education/Experience/Certification/Licenses:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Career Readiness Certification (CRC) required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read, write and speak English is essential.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently as needed.
Basic computer skills required.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Eye, Ear, Foot and Protective clothing must be worn at all times Job Type:
