What We Need:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our HBF team in Hickory, NC! Provides Manufacturing Engineering and development for new products as well as enhancements to existing.
Coordinates the specification of any new or special materials or components as required.
Works with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Partners with production, quality and maintenance teams to continuously improve machining capability, cost, quality, reliability, and overall customer service.
What You Will Do:
Use a disciplined approach to model in Pro E Creo Elements individual parts and assemblies using all appropriate specifications and standards.
Write Programs for CNC machinery with Alpha Cam and ABC Cam.
Create/revise production drawings.
Responsible and accountable for maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
Occasionally works with other members of the Engineering group to accomplish larger projects Interfaces with Manufacturing to resolve issues.
Work with HBF's Product Development, Procurement, and Manufacturing to develop new or enhance existing products.
Work with HBF Manufacturing and outside vendors on prototypes/component parts specified and made.
Process drawings for approved requests.
What You Have:
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in Manufacturing Engineering.
Industrial Design or related field.
Experience should include CNC (Computer numerical Control) turning, grinding as well as the tooling and fixturing of equipment.
Required:
AutoCAD 2004, Excel, Word, PRO E, Creo Elements, and other modeling software.
Recommended:
Access or Crystal Reports, PowerPoint, Project, What You're Good At:
Works safely at all times; reports unsafe conditions to manager.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
