Summary:
Product packagers will hand pack a variety of paper products in boxes then stack them on pallets to be shipped.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Ability to think creatively and apply solve problems Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate our core values every day Inspect materials, products, and packaging while working Maintain work area and equipment in a safe and orderly manner Responsible to read, understand, and perform quality inspections and specifications Pallet configurations Label placement Proper roll placement of cartons Carton sealing inspections Tape machine set-up and tape replacement Raw material prep Proper lifting methods Start/I cut applications and cut quality assurance Core plug insertion with items that require core plugs Time management and uptime maximization Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
consistently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and step up/down a platform and perform repetitive tasks Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Job Type:
