Position Overview The Project Manager is responsible for the organization and monitoring of overall efforts for Information Technology and/or other related projects.
The Project Manager will monitor schedules, ensure compliance to project specifications, budgets, resource allocation and the general progress of project tasks.
This position will be located at the corporate headquarters for Wanzl North America (WNA) in Newton, NC.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel, internal and 3rd party, to ensure project progresses to scope, stays on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
Ensures resource availability and allocation of internal personnel and 3rd party subcontractors Develops project plans to track progress scope, hold teams accountable to schedules and manage spending to the project budget Monitors, measures and analyzes project data to maximize efficiencies and meet deadlines Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Confers with staff (Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management, Accounting, etc.
) to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
Prepares internal and external project reports relating to project status, daily progress, cost estimates and deliverables for management, staff, or others.
Oversees performance of consultants and contractors to ensure all project specifications are being delivered.
Performs risk management to minimize project risks and ensure quality results.
Skills and
Experience:
5-10 years project management related experience ideally with an IT focus.
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.
g.
Information Technology, application design or engineering) is strongly desired PMP Certification a plus Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and O365 Office Suite Proven success managing multiple projects within a tight budget and timeline Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, financial reports, system specifications and legal documents Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, diagrams and forms Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group and executive presentations Excellent teamwork skills Comfortable managing multiple tasks and responding to changing priorities Experience with developing SOWs, procedures and project documentation Job Type:

$80,492.
