We are hiring for the following:
Position:
Registered Nurse - CorporateSchedule:
36-40 hours per week, shifts vary (AM or PM)Location:
Locations throughout the companyPay Rate:
50/hr.
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care including initial examination upon entry into the correctional facility, day-to-day medical care, and respond to medical emergencies as required by the site leadership (Health Services Administrator and/or Director of Nursing as applicable).
Perform other duties as assignedPotentially Registered Nurses have to supervise and delegate to Unlicensed Assisted Personnel such as CMA, RMA, Med Tech, or Certified Med Aide, per the State Board of Nursing and their scope of practice and any state requirements, where the RN and UAP are working together.
Collaborate with facility and corporate management team members to achieve excellent clinical outcomesEducate facility leadership and nursing department team membersWork from various facility locations to provide nursing and management support, in accordance with the site-specific shift needs (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays).
Provide outstanding customer service to all customers including, but not limited to, patients, correctional facility staff, internal employees and other individuals providing services to MEDIKO and its clientsPrepare, monitor, and coordinate the daily patient care activities of the unit to ensure all physician orders are implemented and all patient encounters are documentedMonitor all off-site referrals and provide case management servicesCoordinate services with other patient care units/areas and provide nursing and patient care services as appropriateEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, MEDIKO and facility policies, and accepted nursing protocols and proceduresQualificationsCompletion of an accredited nursing programActive state/commonwealth Nursing license (LPN, RN, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
